San Joaquin Delta Cloudy Day64 viewsThe clouds, and their reflection in the water, caught my interest on this visit. We had hoped for Sandhill Cranes, but this was the consolation for not finding any.

Dry Falls Sunrise63 viewsThe sun is just above the horizon at this early hour, and the landscape is infused with golden sunshine. It is very early (for me) to rise, but well worth it.

Masai Point Overlook at Chiricahua Ntl Monument61 viewsThis is a shot from the nature trail at Masai Point. It was a white-bright day and we weren't up to another hike just yet, so we drove up to the overlook. It was so bright that we needed filters we did not have.

Views in Chiricahua National Monument60 views We hiked the Lower Rhyolite Canyon trail to the junction with the Sarah Deming trail, bound for the Heart of Rocks. We never made it that far, prudently saving enough energy for the return home to the ranger station. These views lined the trail we did hike though, and made the hike worthwhile.

Nearby dry lake bed sunset60 viewsWe traveled just outside Willcox, on the road to Chihuahua and Ft Bowie, to a dry lake bed, just for the sunset. we were well rewarded for the effort.
