Yellow Bellied Marmot at Shoshone FallsWe thought this guy was so cute, and we tiptoed around and scurried to get photos. Then we figure out he was actually following us. They are so spoiled and tame we could have shouted and screamed, and as long as he continued to believe he might get fed, which he did not, he'd have put up with anything. So sad...Jul 28, 2020

Great Blue HeronWe stumbled upon this This Great Blue Heron on our way out of the area. He was not too elusive, but also not so cooperative. Bald Eagle at Skagit WMAThis eagle permitted us to approach his tree, walk directly, well almost directly :), underneath, and camp out for 20+ minutes before he finally took off. He was up 60 feet or so, yielding the bottom-up view. Not the best view, I admint, but beggars can't be choosers.Jul 14, 2020

Northern Harrier hunting at Whitewater DrawFast moving bird, at about 50 yards, at the end of a day. By now the 200-500mm Zoom was pretty heavy. I had a tough time staying on this guy for decent shots. This was not good, but among the best nonetheless. Used a very close crop to lose an annoying post intruding on the frame to save the frame.Jun 02, 2020
